1. Booking & Payment Policy
- Securing Your Seat A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Final payment is due [X days/weeks] before departure.
- Payment Methods We accept Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and direct bank transfer.
- Minimum Numbers Some tours require a minimum number of participants to operate (e.g., 25 for the Hotham Valley Dinner Train). If the minimum isn’t reached, we’ll offer:
- A rescheduled date, or
- A full refund of any payments made.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations by You
- More than 30 days before departure: Full refund, minus a small admin fee.
- 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour price.
- 14 days or less: No refund, unless we can fill your spot from our waitlist.
- Cancellations by Rod’s Day Tours If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, operator availability), you will receive:
- A full refund, or
- The option to transfer your booking to another date or tour at no cost.
3. Single Supplement Policy
We welcome solo travellers — you can choose to share a room (if available) or pay the single supplement listed for your tour. For the Yallingup Tour, the supplement is AUD 289 on the twin share rate.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost belongings.
5. Health & Safety
- All tours are conducted using licensed captains, professional drivers, and fully insured vehicles.
- We adjust itineraries for passenger comfort and safety in the event of poor weather or other disruptions.
- Please let us know of any medical conditions, mobility concerns, or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
6. Special Requests & Custom Tours
We can create tailored itineraries for private groups, special events, or themed experiences (e.g., food & wine, photography, aviation). Contact Rod directly to discuss your vision.
7. Final Agreement
By booking a tour with Rod’s Day Tours, you agree to the above terms and conditions. Full terms may be provided upon request or at the time of booking.
